So beautiful, Kimberly! ❤️ Last week, I republished a post I'd done on the elements and my belief that they are alive. I keep thinking about this idea. What if atoms (and whatever is even smaller than that) are alive, are conscious? They come together in certain configurations, or collaborations, for a time before moving into something new, but they never die. When they come together as us, I wonder if we can tap into the memory of every other form they were and will be. I think this is the singularity you call to. Thank you so much for these beautiful words!

I love how you say this Jenna, “tapping into the memory of every other form.” I think this would make for a powerful intent while walking in the woods or meditating. I will circle back to your post and save it to read! Sounds like we’re both contemplating similar ideas right now. I find it very freeing to feel the aliveness and intelligence of all matter, makes my life so much less significant.:)

Here’s another of hers, and a favorite of mine:

My mother knows all about the under-dark.

She needn’t have pretended to be appalled.

The seed must break open and rise;

put too deep the rot sets in.

My mother is a god; she wanted to spare me.

But my nature is nature.

Like everything alive I was meant to be split open,

to blossom, to be sucked, to be eaten,

to lean, to bend, to wither,

to die and die and die and die until I died.

It is a beauty Kimberly.

I’m late to the ‘party’,

but I’ve come bearing gifts. Have you seen the video with narration? Wonderful…
